About Me

Three core things that drive me in my life: design, learning, and empowering others to be better than they were the day before through mentorship, coaching, and drawing from my own experiences in both success and failure.

As a child growing up, I often found myself sketching starships and visions of what a future world could be, leading to a life-long obsession with imaging the possibilities of everything that I encounter in my day-to-day life.

In my experience in the Intelligence Community during my service with the military, I expanded my scope of thinking about complex problems and how to approach solutions through design thinking. In this approach, I learned to not only consider the effects of the outcomes of taking an action within a given environment, but to consider the effects of those effects that result in unintended consequences. This helped to cement my perception of the power of design, and the ultimate responsibility inherent in making decisions that affect human outcomes.

With my life experiences and passions, I continue to this day to be a dreamer that considers the complexity of human and technological problems by taking a systematic and iterative approach to designing solutions to problems.
